Three generations, tighter constraints
I developed the hardware and PCB implementation across D3MG/V32, D1MG/V32 and D1MG/V8510 coordinators. Each generation reduced enclosure space while increasing component density.
A two-board solution
The hardware integrates 220 V conversion, radio, RS-485, an MCU, memory and watchdog circuitry. The most compact revision places two boards at 90 degrees, separating power and RS-485 from control and radio electronics.
From schematic to manufacturing
My scope included component selection, libraries, PCB layout, enclosure integration, 3D verification, prototyping and production documentation. Multiple generations were prepared for serial production.
