Extending an existing platform
I combined an E32 radio/power platform with an additional RS-485 interface and supporting circuitry. My responsibility covered hardware integration and PCB design, excluding firmware.
Geometry drives the design
The main constraint was fitting into an existing meter architecture. Board outline, connector positions, component heights and board spacing had to match surrounding electronics precisely.
Production handoff
I completed schematic development, placement, routing, 3D checks and manufacturing documentation. The module was prototyped and released to production.
